Get to Know Lydia Brett, DMD, MS
Dr. Lydia has been practicing dentistry for over a decade, starting her career as a general dentist before discovering her deep passion for pediatric dentistry. She truly enjoys providing preventive and comprehensive oral healthcare to young patients at every age and stage. It’s her joy in life to help her growing patients learn and establish good oral hygiene practices that will continue throughout their lives, leading to decades of wellness, confidence, and bright smiles.
A Blooming Passion
Dr. Lydia was born in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. She attended Florida State University and graduated with a double major in Chemistry and Biochemistry, and in 2017, earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.
After the birth of her third daughter, she decided with the support of her family to return to school and start training as a pediatric dentist. She went on to graduate from the UTHealth Houston Pediatric Dental Residency.

Dr. Lydia and her husband, Wade, have four daughters, Ora, Hannah, Lyra, and Willa. In her free time, she enjoys running, cooking, and cherishing every moment with her family.
